Overview:
How would you like to combine some winter sunshine with a relaxing yachting course?
Our winter RYA training courses in the Caribbean are an ideal way to escape the long winter nights, UK weather and snow. Courses are run from Falmouth Harbour, in Antigua, throughout January, February, March and April and make use of this beautiful tropical cruising ground.
You can join us for a week on board (to help you take advantage of the best flight deals). As with all of our UK courses, certificates are all tidal and the courses are live aboard. Caribbean courses take place on board our comfortable First 40.7 “Cheeki Rafiki”
Course Duration:
We provide one week's accommodation on board, this means there is more time to learn to sail and enjoy the Caribbean than on the conventional 5 day RYA Courses
Pre Requisites:
None. This course is aimed at beginners.
Course Content:
Basic seamanship and helming.
By the end of the course you should be able to steer, handle sails, keep a lookout, row the dinghy and assist in all the day to day routines. This is a five day live aboard course. Breakfast, lunch and one evening meal are taken on board. Other evening meals are ashore (not included). This is a good fun social introduction to yacht sailing, in one of the most beautiful sailing locations in the world.

Spend a week cruising around the beautiful Islands of Antigua and Barbuda.
