Cat Conversion
Overview:
For existing dinghy sailors who want to have a go at this faster for of sailing. Multi-hull techniques are different from dinghy techniques. Over two days we can convert your existing knowledge and experience allowing you to fast-track your way into this sport.
Aims:
To adapt your existing dinghy or keelboat sailing skills into multi-hull sailing skills.
Course Duration:
2 days (0930 to 1700 each day)
Pre Requisites:
- RYA Dinghy or Keelboat Level 3 or higher
or
- Minimum 1 full season sailing experience

- Rigging
- Launch and recovery
- Tacking
- Sailing Efficiently
- Avoidig Pitch poling
- Capsize Drill
- MOB
- Coming Alongside
- Gybing
- Downwind Sailing
- Trapezing
What's Included:
- Full use of our Dart 16 "Race" catamarans
- 2 days of instruction
- Loan of trapeze harness
- Loan of a buoyancy aid
- Tea/Coffee
