Dartmouth Regatta 2012

As August closes to an end, the Bank Holiday Weekend hosts the long standing Dartmouth Regatta. A day's race training and four days of close inshore racing with the back drop of this beautiful Dorset coastline.
Course Duration:
Tuesday evening to Sunday afternoon
- Tuesday Night (28 August 2012) - Welcome
- Wednesday - (29 August 2012) - Race and Spinnaker Training
- Thursday to Sunday (30 August to 2 September 2012) - Racing
Course Content:
Free accommodation is optionally available on board. We meet on the Tuesday evening for a welcome and devote Wednesday to training. Thursday to Sunday is then the actual event. There are two races a day for three of the days and a longer Coastal Race on one of the days.
All of the racing takes places just outside of Dartmouth harbour and we will be racing in the IRC fleet.
There is prize giving and entertainment at the Yacht Club each evening. The whole of Dartmouth is celebrating Dartmouth Week and there are various evening games and competitions.
