RYA Dinghy Start Racing
Aims:
Incorporating all you need to know in order to get round the course and have the confidence, skills and knowledge to take part in club racing in good conditions. This course is the start line for enjoying club racing.
Course Duration:
Two Days from 0930 to 1700 or across four evenings from 1800 to 2115 (to book evening classes on line return to the Dinghy Sailing menu on the left).
Pre Requisites:
- RYA Dinghy Level 3 or a weeks experience dinghy sailing.
Course Content:
The course covers boat preparation, boat handling, mark rounding, start lines, the course, race strategy, tactics and racing rules.
