RYA Keelboat Performance Sailing

Aims:

Improve your boat handling and confidence in performance boats, sailing the boat to best advantage at all times. This course is intended primarily for modern spinnaker boats.

Course Duration:

Two Days 0900 to 1700 or four summer evenings 1800 to 2115.

Pre Requisites:

RYA Sailing with Spinnakers (or equivalant expereince) and

• RYA Keelboat Level 3 or
• RYA Dinghy Level 3 or
• RYA Dayskipper Sail

Course Content:

Improved rigging, best efficiency on all point of sail, wind shifts and wind variation. Spend two days on board our Cork 1720 learning how to make this rocket-ship fly.

• 2 days shared use of one of our keelboats 
• 2 days instruction 
• Loan of a life jacket 
• RYA Keelboat Performance Sailing Certificate 
• Free Parking 
• 1 year's free introductory membership to the RNLI

What's Not Included:

• Lunch
• Footwear
• Wet weather clothing (£5/day if required)
