Instructor Training

RYA Instructor qualifications are recognised across the globe. Once qualified, an RYA Instructor can teach his or her relevant sport at any RYA Training Centre worldwide. Instructors cannot, however, issue RYA certificates; this is done by the RYA Training Centre.

At Stormforce Coaching, we are renowned for our RYA Instructor Training. Unlike most centres, we do not have to outsource Instructor training, as we have some of the highest qualified coaches and trainers in the country on our permanent staff. Instructor courses are either conducted at our Southampton Training Centre at Shamrock Quay, or onboard your own vessel or superyacht.

Stormforce Coaching runs a wider range of RYA Instructor Courses than any other Training Centre in the world. Our reputation for Instructor training is excellent and our name will be a great asset to your CV. Courses vary in duration from 1 day to 5 days. Training takes place at those times of the year when candidates (who are often already seasonal instructors/skippers) are likely to be available and the prevailing weather conditions are likely to be suitable. Within most of the above disciplines there are several levels of Instructor course as well as various endoresments, designed to allow candidates to teach across multiple disciplines.
