Instructor Training
RYA Instructor qualifications are recognised across the globe. An RYA instructor is qualified to teach/coach his/her relevant sport at an RYA Training Centre. Instructors cannot issue RYA certificates, this is done by the RYA Training Centre.
We are well renowned for our RYA Instructor Training. Unlike most centres we do not have to outsource this work as we have some of the highest qualified coaches and trainers in the country on our permanent staff. Instructor courses are run from both of our Southampton Centres (Shamrock Quay and Weston Shore).
Stormforce Coaching runs a wider range of RYA Instructor Courses than any other Training Centre in the world. Our reputation for Instructor training is excellent and our name will be a great asset to your CV. Courses vary in duration from 1 day to 5 days. Training takes place at those times of the year when candidates (who are often already seasonal instructors/skippers) are likely to be available and the prevailing weather conditions are likely to be suitable.
