Charter
Stormforce Coaching provides three forms of Charter.
Bareboat Charter / Hire
Bareboat Charter is available on the sailing yachts, PWC and RIBs less than 5m but none of the larger powered craft.
For sailing yachts one member of the party should hold a RYA Coastal Skipper Sail certificate or higher, for dinghies a RYA Level 2 or higher, for PWC the RYA PWC Proficiency Certificate and for the RIBs the RYA Intermediate Certificate. In all cases one member of the party must hold the RYA SRC License (or higher).
A security deposit is required in cleared funds. A full hand over is included before departure and on return. Charter times vary, some customers preferring to start in the evening, some in the morning. Full terms are available on request. Skippered Charter
All of our craft are available for skippered charter. The above prices apply. A Skipper costs an additional £180/day, fuel is not included. In some cases RYA courses can be covered as part of a charter- assuming maximum ratios are not exceeded. The cruising area for sail and motor yachts is from Brest (France) to the Elbe (Germany) and encompasses the British Isles, English Channel and North Sea. The cruising area for RIBs is usually the Solent but can be extended. For more information please email charter@stormforce.biz
Corporate Charter / Entertainment
Packages can be deigned and tailored to your requirements, we have access to a wide range of power and sail craft and full use of the dining facilities of several local Yacht Clubs. Typical corporate days include treasure hunts, short yacht races, thrill rides aboard zapcats, PWC and fast RIBs. To discuss your requirements please email charter@stormforce.biz
