GREEK WATERSPORTS HOLIDAYS - THE SMALL PRINT
HOLIDAY BOOKING, DEPOSIT & PAYMENT
The posting of a signed application to Stormforce Coaching (Greece) or a telephone booking or an email booking or an online booking followed by an acceptance letter or email from Stormforce Coaching (Greece) forms the basis of a contract.
Bookings will only be accepted when accompanied by the appropriate deposit. The deposit is 25% of the holiday fees (except where specifically indicated otherwise). Deposits are non refundable.
Full payment must be made (and cleared with our bank) by two calendar months before the holiday start date. If full payment is not made by this date then Stormforce Coaching reserves the right to re sell your holiday. Holidays booked within two calendar months of the start date must pay the full fees at the time of booking.
Cheques should be made payable to Stormforce Coaching and posted to Stormforce Coaching Ltd, Kemps Quay Marina, Quayside Road, Southampton, SO18 1BZ, please write on the back of your cheque your name, and the dates of the holiday you are booking.
Deposits can be taken by Credit and Debit Cards over the phone or online, we accept the following cards; MasterCard, Solo, UK Maestro, Visa, Visa Debit/Delta and Visa Electron. Please note that credit card transactions are subject to a 2.5% transaction fee, we make no charge for debit card transactions.
Bank Transfer (for Greek Watersports Holidays) can be made to, Sort Code 20 12 80, Account Number 40939188
Cash can be taken at our office in Southampton, but only in person, please do not send us cash through the post.
CANCELLATIONS
In the event of a cancellation by you up to two calendar months before the holiday start date then only the deposit shall be forfeited. In the event of a cancellation after this date then you shall be liable for the full holiday fees in all cases.
Stormforce Coaching reserves the right to cancel any booking at any time. In the unlikely event of this happening we will offer a full refund of our fees. We will not be liable for any other cost that you may have incurred.
MEDICAL AND SAFETY
You must be in good physical health at the start of your holiday (if in doubt consult your GP).
The decision as to whether to participate in any of our activities lies with the participant. By enrolling on any of our activities or using any of our equipment you accept that there is a risk involved with watersports and the other activities we run. It is your responsibility to decide if you are fit and healthy enough to start or continue any activity.
You must inform your the Chief Instructor at the commencement of your holiday if you are taking any form of medication.
On matters of safety the decision of your instructor or skipper is final.
You must be able to swim a minimum of 50m in order to use any of our fleet.
The beach can be closed at any time by Stormforce Coaching and its agents due to actual or anticipated weather.
CHANGES TO PROGRAMME
Stormforce Coaching reserves the right to make changes to the advertised programme or craft if circumstances beyond our control dictate this.
GENERAL
Students agree to the craft and accommodation allocated to them.
Stormforce Coaching Ltd. reserves the right to terminate your holiday at any time if your behaviour is unacceptable. In this instance we have no obligation to pay for any return travel costs or refund any monies paid to us or our agents.
Stormforce Coaching Ltd. is not responsible for any loss or damage to your personal possessions while you are with us.
MINIMUM AGE
A parent or legal guardian must sign a consent form for all under eighteens before they can make use of the water based fleet or mountain bikes.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
- Daily coaching sessions (times to be agreed with Chief Instructor in resort).
- Use of the mountain bikes and sailing, windsurfing and kayaking fleet when the beach is open.
- Self catering accommodation in our studio apartments a few minutes walk/cycle from both the town centre and our beach.
- Use of a bike for the duration of your stay (adults only and subject to size).
- Free Wireless broadband connection.
- Use of buoyancy aids and safety equipment.
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED
- Flights and transfers are not included.
- Meals are not included.
- Certification is not included.
DOCUMENTATION AND INSURANCE
On the holiday end date you must have at least six months remaining on your passport. Any guest with a Non European Union Passport must ensure they have any necessary visas. British Citizens must carry a valid EH 1C (free from the post office or available online) when travelling abroad.
Guests are required to carry full travel/holiday insurance commensurate with the activities they participate in.
COMPLAINTS
In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with any part of your holiday or dealings with us we do need to know. In the first instance tell your instructor or any member of staff, most problems can be resolved while you are in resort. If they can not resolve the problem then you are advised to contact the office and inform the Chief Instructor.
If the matter is still not resolved then we ask you write to "The Director" at the company head quarters in Southampton within one week of your holiday ending, your letter will need to explain what the problem was, who you made aware of the problem, what was done or not done and what you would like done now. Please mark this letter "private and confidential."
PERSONAL DATA
By buying any goods or service form us you agree to us holding your information on file and contacting you with future offers. Stormforce Coaching will never share your details with anyone else, (unless required to do so by law).
