SAIL CRUISING SCHEME (Sailing Yacht)
The Sail Cruising Scheme is aimed at those who sail aboard yachts. Typically sailing yachts will have sleeping and cooking facilities on board and generally (but not always) be fitted with an auxiliary engine. Most of courses take place on yachts of 11m-13m. During courses the students and instructor all eat and sleep on board, however crews do spend the odd evening in a watering hole along the way.
If your interest lies in smaller open sailing boats then please click dinghy sailing scheme. Most sail cruising courses last five days, they can be taken as a Monday to Friday course or spread over weekends. In addition to the practical courses there are a number of Shorebased courses that will help develop your skills and make you a safer and more self reliant sailor/skipper.
Course titles are given below. For further details, dates, prices and to book click on the individual course titles below. Practical courses are in blue, shorebased courses in red.
