MCA COURSES
The Maritime and Coastguard Agency is the government arm in the UK for maritime affairs, they have produced a number of courses for commercial seafarers. Many of these courses are included in the STCW'95, in other words they are recognised internationally and comply with international merchant shipping training and certification. The super yacht industry uses a number of these courses for its crew, deck officers and engineers. Some courses are also useful for leisure sailors looking at blue water sailing.
HSE COURSES
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) requires employers to ensure their staff are trained to sufficient standards in various safety related areas such as First Aid, manual Handling and Fire Prevention.
We usually run these courses from our Southampton centre but are also able to run the course in house for a group of your staff.
