HSE Emergency First Aid at Work

AIM: From the 1 October 2009 we have discontinued the HSE Appointed Person's First Aid Course and replaced with this higher level courseo that can be covered in the same amount of time (1 day). This course was written by the HSE for employees and is a requirment in most work places in th UK.

DURATION: One Day 1000 to 1700.

PRE REQUISITES: None

COURSE CONTENT: Written by the HSE the syllabus includes emergency actions, basic treatment, calling for help, CPR and First Aid Kits. The certificate lasts for three years, after which you will need to take another one day course or upgrade to the full HSE First Aid at Work Qualification. It is reccomended (but not compulsary) that you complete refresher training once a year
