Yacht Skipper Ocean Module - 5 Weeks

The Yachtmaster Offshore Certificate qualifies you to make passages up to 150 miles from a safe haven. If you want to go further offshore then the Ocean module will qualify you to skipper yachts globally across any ocean. Safety, medical, radio and engine knowledge are all developed as you will need to become self sufficient in all areas. The art of astro navigation (sextant/sun and stars) is then studied ashore before you embark on your ocean passage. On return from your ocean passage you will take the final oral exam and attain the highest Certificate of Competence within the RYA scheme.

o    RYA Yachtmaster Offshore, STCW '95 Medical First Aid & RYA Diesel
