RYA Dayskipper Motor

AIM: To develop skills to skipper a motor cruiser in familiar waters by day.

DURATION: 4 Days.

PRE REQUISITES:

·     2 days on board a motor cruiser

·     Basic navigation and helming

·     Day Skipper Shorebased Course before taking this practical course (recommended)

COURSE CONTENT: This four-day course gives you the chance to take charge on short passages under instruction. You will concentrate on pilotage, boat handling, seamanship and navigation. As our courses are in tidal waters, your certificate will be endorsed accordingly. During the course we also include a night exercise. Breakfast, lunch, tea/coffee are included as is accommodation on board. Dinner is usually taken ashore (not included).
