RYA Dinghy Level 2
AIM: To become a competent sailor in light winds with an introduction to sailing techniques, manoeuvres, rigging, launching, capsize drill, safety and basic rules of the road. By the end of the course students should be able to sail in light winds without an instructor on board. DURATION: Two Days 0900 to 1700 or four evenings 1800 to 2130. PRE REQUISITES: RYA Dinghy Level 1 or Keelboat or Multi Hull Level 1. COURSE CONTENT: Rigging, points of sail, leaving and returning to pontoons, sailing more efficiently and basic rules of the road.
