Stormforce Coaching (Peleponese) is based in the Greek town of Porti Heli on the Argolic Peninsula. Our holidays are aimed at couples and families alike and can be tailored to your requirements.

During your stay with us you will stay in one of our four self catering apartments, a few minutes walk from our private beach and the town centre. Included in the holiday is training every morning (multi hull, dinghy or windsurf) and use of all of the kit every afternoon. We will also give you full use of one of our bikes for the duration of your stay.

These sailing holidays give you the freedom to join in with training sessions on the beach, make use of kit, soak up the sun or simply enjoy the Greek culture. Unlike large tour operator we ask you to choose which day of the week you arrive, how long you stay for and which day you leave. Most guests opt for 1 or 2 weeks as this usually helps with getting the best flight deals however we are completely flexible.

Flights to Athens from the UK depart Manchester twice a week and London and Luton daily. You book your flight and we will arrange for a private taxi to collect you for your transfer from the airport to the accommodation. At the time of booking you choose the room combination you want. Families generally book two adjacent apartments. As we only have four apartments you are guaranteed an individual service and a holiday tailored to you. We can lend you a mountain bike during your stay and give you full use of our fleet of multi hulls, dinghies, windsurfers and kayaks. Its up to you how little or much you sail, sightsee and soak up the sun.

OUR BEACH

Our water sports centre is situated on the largest sandy beach in Porto Heli Bay. It is populated with sun-loungers and parasols for chilling in the shade and a volley ball course for informal knock-around's and beach competitions. Our boat and boards are all kept on the waters edge so minimum time is spent launching.

DINGHY & MULTI HULL SAILING

The sailing is suitable for all levels. While we are happy to run courses for beginners we recommend that you attend a 2 or 4 day course with us in the UK prior to your holiday if you have not sailed before. Our resort is particularly popular with those who can already dinghy sail and would like to take up multi-hull sailing.

WINDSURFING

Our resort is suitable for beginner and intermediate windsurfing and we have a wide range of boards available and pre rigged rigs waiting for you. We can provide instruction or you can take the kit out for a blast with the knowledge that our beach team and safety boat will be on hand if required.

MOUNTAIN BIKING

Mountain Biking is a great way to explore the area. There is some amazing terrain to cover in and around Porto Heli. We have a fleet of five performance bikes to loan to our guests for mountain biking. We can also provide a bike guide (charged extra in resort) if required. In addition to our performance bikes we also have a fleet of bikes for your use around the town. Each guest can borrow a bike for the duration of their stay. If of course you want to bring your own bike to explore the area feel free!

KAYAKING

The solo and tandem kayaks are there for you to use, take them for a paddle between sails, no experience required. Powerboat and Jet Ski training Available from our beach (not included). We run a one day Jet Ski course and two day powerboat handling course. Scuba Diving and Snorkelling We work with two local diving schools, scuba diving can be booked in resort, (not included).

WATER-SKI

Water-ski and wake boarding sessions or lessons are available in resort at preferential rates to our guest, likewise there is a range of towed inflatable You can of course try all the activities or focus on 1 activity.

DAY TRIPS & CAR HIRE

If you have family members who don't want to sail or mountain bike every day then there is plenty of other things to do. There are boat trips daily to the Islands of Spetse, Hydra and Porus with tours of these towns, historical sights and chances to go shopping. A popular day trip is to the Amphitheatre at Epidaphrus. All of these trips can be booked through the beach team in resort, likewise cars can be hire by the day or week.

RESTAURANTS & EVENINGS

The town centre has a wide range of restaurants allowing you to choose between local food and more traditional Western meals. Seafood is often a speciality and there are plenty of fresh Mediterranean salads. Likewise there are many bars to choose between.

ACCOMODATION

You will be staying in one of our four studio apartments; the apartments are a few minutes walk or cycle from the beach. Each studio has its own kitchen, en suite bathroom and private balcony, as well as use of a communal lounge and BBQ area. Each studio sleeps two or three and they all have wireless broadband connection.

HOW TO BOOK

Let us know by email or phone which dates you would like and how many are in your party. We will check availability and assuming we have space will provisionally book your holiday. We will hold this provisional booking for 48 hours to give you a chance to confirm flights with your chosen airline. Having booked your flights you can then confirm details with us and pay for your holiday. We take card payment over the phone. Please see our standard terms and conditions regarding cancellations etc.

AVAILABILITY & SEASON

Our centre opens on the 1 March and our season runs through to 30th November. The town is a popular tourist destination in the summer particularly the months of July and August. While there is plenty to do, some of the bars and restaurants are only open April to October. We are prepared to take group bookings outside of our season, POA.
